Immersion Group Capital Raise
Harwood Andrews congratulates Immersion Group on their recent capital raising round, which was fully taken up by a cornerstone investment from Nissui Corporation (TSE: 1332) and local high net-worth investors from the Geelong region.
Nissui was the second-largest seafood producer globally in 2022 with revenues in excess of $8 billion.
Immersion Group is an Australian company committed to developing and enhancing the bounty of our oceans, with a focus on the production of world-class seaweed products, including the methane-busting red seaweeds Asparagopsis armata and Asparagopsis taxiformis. Funds from the raise will be put towards expanding Australian production facilities.
Nissui’s mission is to harness the power of its pioneering spirit and industry expertise to create a healthier, more sustainable future through innovative food solutions, and the alignment of vision was most important to Immersion Group.
