Clerkship

Our seasonal clerkship program will provide you with the opportunity to taste life at Harwood Andrews and experience the inner workings at our firm.  It is a great opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the firm’s culture and to work closely with our team of lawyers across a range of practice areas.  Our aim is to offer you a well-rounded learning experience.

2026

Our Clerkship program for July 2026 has been filled. 

Our October 2026 dates are:

Week 1: 19/10/2026 – 23/10/2026  

Week 2: 26/10/2026 – 30/10/2026 

Week 3: 02/11/2026 – 06/12/2026  

2027

Our June 2027 dates are:

Week 1: 14/06/2027 – 18/06/2027

Week 2: 21/06/2027 – 25/06/2027

Week 3: 28/06/2027 – 02/07/2027

Our October 2027 dates are:

Week 1: 18/10/2026 – 22/10/2026  

Week 2: 25/10/2026 – 29/10/2026 

Week 3: 01/11/2026 – 05/12/2026  

The three-week program will provide you with a snapshot of the type of work we do at Harwood Andrews and the clients we work with.

At the commencement of your seasonal clerkship you will be introduced to your buddy, who will be one of our Graduates or a junior lawyer.  Your buddy will provide guidance and support to you to ensure that your clerkship with our firm is both rewarding as well as a positive learning experience.

Students who are currently studying or have already completed their law degrees are eligible to apply.

Who Can Apply

Firms accept applications from final year students; that is, those commencing their final semester in 2026/7 who are eligible to commence as a graduate in 2027/8.

Key Dates

Applications for the October 2026, June 2027 and October 2027 Clerkship programs open on Monday 6 July at 9am 

Applications will close on Sunday 9 August at 11:59pm

Offers will be made from 10am Thursday 15 October 2026.
