The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant who enjoys working in a highly organised, professional environment and partnering closely with senior lawyers. In this role, you will be a trusted support to our Principals, contributing to the working of a small team, smooth progression of matters and a positive experience for our clients.
This is a hands‑on role that requires strong organisational capability, confidence using technology, and the ability to manage priorities with a high level of autonomy.
Key Tasks:
Proactive management of legal practitioners’ diaries, emails and task priorities using Microsoft Outlook and Planner
Liaising professionally with clients and internal and external stakeholders
Progressing matters with a high level of autonomy, under the supervision of legal practitioners
Drafting, editing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Coordinating team marketing, financial professional and business development initiatives,
Coordinating internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes
Utilising firm technology tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Planner, document and practice management systems, to ensure accurate file and matter management
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment
A proactive and client-focused approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook and Planner for diary, email and task management
Exposure to or willingness to learn new systems and ways of working (iManage document management and Elite practice management)
Experience in professional services or legal environments (desirable)
