The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and capable lawyer to join our Wills and Estates team in Geelong. You will work closely with an experienced Principal and a high-performing, supportive team comprising of a Principal Lawyer, Senior Associate, Associate and administrative staff.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise within a well-established and busy practice, with access to strong mentoring and genuine career progression.
About the Role
In this role, you will manage and assist on a broad range of wills and estates matters while continuing to build your technical capability in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This includes but is not limited to:
Wills and estate planning;
Preparing enduring powers of attorney (financial & personal) and appointment of medical treatment decision maker;
Superannuation death benefit advice;
Succession of family trusts;
Probate and estate administration;
Estate disputes; and
VCAT guardianship and administration applications.
About You
You are a driven and personable Associate with 2 to 4 years PQE, a solid foundation in wills and estates and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients. You bring a proactive approach, sound commercial awareness, and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
You will demonstrate:
