The Role:

As an Assistant in our Wills & Estates team, you will play a key role working with our lawyers to deliver services to the firm’s clients.

Key Tasks:

  • Proactive diary and email management

  • Liaising with clients, and internal and external stakeholders

  • Progressing matters autonomously

  • Drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents

  • Opening files and new matters

  • Using firm technology tools, including document and practice management systems

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role

  • Willingness to be proactive with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Organisational and time management abilities

  • High attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Planner, Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Exposure to or willingness to learn new systems and ways of working (iManage document management and Elite practice management)

  • Experience in professional services or legal environments (desirable)
