Charity & Not-For-Profit Webinar 2025

Governance for not-for-profit organisations – trends and best practice

The Harwood Andrews’ NFP team invite you to join us for our annual charity and not-for-profit webinar, for a discussion on effective governance for not-for-profit organisations.

In the context of an increasingly complex environment, we’ll consider the Board and its functions in the context of a changing environment for charities and not-for-profits.

  • What is the job of the board?

  • How should we approach strategy and policy?

  • How should a Board think about getting the right information to inform decision-making?

  • How can we discharge our directors’ duties and ensure compliance by our organisation?

  • How do we measure progress?

  • What is best practice in Board recruitment?

To discuss these trends and best practice, we are pleased to host David Fishel, the editor of ‘The Book of the Board’, now in its 4th edition, which has been a go-to resource for directors and senior managers since 2004.  David has been training and supporting boards of not-for-profit organisations and the CEOs who report to them for over 30 years.

This webinar is aimed at leaders and directors of not-for-profits and charities.

Not-for-profits are not just charities - they can be schools, sporting clubs or hobby clubs. If you are involved in a not-for-profit organisation, no matter how large or small, then this event is for you.
