Recent award nomination recognises Harwood Andrews as a trailblazer in the legal industry

Harwood Andrews has once again been recognised as a leader in the Australian legal industry through their recent nomination as a finalist in the 2016 Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards.

The firm will join a group of ten legal firms nominated in the Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year category.

This is the second national nomination for Harwood Andrews this year, who were also named as a finalist in the 2016 Australasian Law Awards for Boutique Law Firm of the Year.

The Annual Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards celebrates trailblazers in legal business that have challenged traditional models and found better ways to practise law.

The process looked at the firm’s commitment to the regional communities in which they operate, their business strategy and key milestone achievements over the past 12 months as well as ways in which they demonstrate professional excellence to provide positive client outcomes.

The opening of an office in Albury, being the first regional firm appointed to the Victorian Government Panel and the firm’s B Corp certification were just some examples of the achievements that earned Harwood Andrews their nomination.

Harwood Andrews are the only firm from Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat or Albury nominated in their category and the winner will be announced on Friday September 2nd in front of over 600 legal professionals and guests from around the country at a black tie event in Sydney.
