We Are Proud To Partner With The Festival Of Sails, Geelong Connected Communities And Awa To Support The National Bushfire Appeal

The current bushfire crisis gripping Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania has gained headlines around the world. Lives, possessions and livelihoods have been lost, not to mention the devastating impact on our wildlife. This event is far from over, and we are committed to supporting the communities impacted across Australia.

To do our part for one of the worst bushfire seasons on record, we are proud to partner with AWA Alliance Bank and Geelong Connected Communities to help kick start the Royal Geelong Yacht Club 'Festival of Sails' Bushfire Appeal.

Together we have established this appeal with 100% of donated funds going directly to those in need via the Salvation Army's National Bushfire Disaster Appeal. All donations are tax deductible. All funds raised will be used in a range of locally identified charitable areas to provide relief and recovery in the fire affected areas.

A specific Bushfire Donations Account has been established into which AWA, Harwood Andrews, and the Royal Geelong Yacht Club will match donations dollar for dollar up to $27,500. We are hoping to raise more than $60,000.  Donations can be made up until 11.59 pm on Monday Jan 27 and the amount raised will be announced at the conclusion of the Festival of Sails.
