Harwood Andrews wins State/Regional Law Firm of the Year at the 2017 Australasian Law Awards
The winners of the 2017 Australasian Law Awards have been announced with Harwood Andrews taking out the award for State/Regional Law Firm of the Year for 2017.
The win sees the firm go one better than 2016 when it was a finalist in the Boutique Law Firm of the Year category.
This success follows Harwood Andrews' win in the 2016 Lawyers Weekly Best Regional/Suburban Firm of the Year. CEO Andrew Barnes said the award is another success for the firm. "Consecutive wins across the two leading award ceremonies in Australia is a great achievement for the firm. This is a tremendous outcome for our shareholders, staff and the broader HA community." He said.
The awards process recognised the firm’s commitment to the regional communities in which they operate, excellence in the legal profession and outstanding achievements over the past 12 months. "These are hotly contested awards and to come out on top of well-known interstate firms is a very positive reinforcement of our firms ongoing drive to lead the way in the regions." said Mr Barnes.
The development of online legal services, the establishment of an innovation program for idea generation, commencing a group claim practice and the expansion into Albury were among Harwood Andrews’ achievements recognised in the award.
Harwood Andrews was recognised in front of almost 800 of the legal profession’s most talented people at The Star in Sydney on Thursday May 18th.
