ACNC CHARITIES - LODGE YOUR AIS PRIOR TO 30 JUNE

The deadline for lodging your Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) registered charity’s Annual Information Statement (AIS) is 30 June, unless you have applied to the ACNC to have a different reporting period. If charities fail to submit their AIS for two consecutive years, they will have their charity status revoked.

An AIS must be lodged for all ACNC registered charities irrespective of whether they are classified as small, medium or large charities. Charities that are classified as medium and large charities need to lodge a financial report for the 2014 reporting period in addition to the AIS for the charity. The financial report for medium charities must either be reviewed or audited, but the financial report for large charities must be audited.
