Harwood Andrews Appointed To The Victorian Government Legal Services Panel

Harwood Andrews has been appointed as one of only 23 law firms to the new Victorian Government Legal Services Panel. Appointed to the panels for Property and Planning and Environment, Harwood Andrews is the only regional firm represented on the panel.

Harwood Andrews has represented government in its various forms since the beginning of its 173 year history representing councils and governments across metropolitan areas, regional cities and rural areas. It is that experience, that played a large part in our successful appointment.

Following a comprehensive tender process, the selection reflects the quality of the legal services provided by Harwood Andrews and our commitment to regional Victoria. We are Victoria’s largest law firm with its head office based in a regional centre, our offices are located in Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Melbourne, and we are opening a new office in Albury/Wodonga on 1 February 2016.

Important components of our successful tender were our ongoing commitment to having a positive impact on the communities in which we operate, through the provision of extensive pro bono work. Also instrumental to our success was our certification as a B Corp, which acknowledges our businesses international best practice standards in caring for the environment, the community and our people.

We are extremely proud of this achievement, and we thank our clients for the support they continue to provide to us.
