Tessa D’Abbs is an Associate working in the areas of Planning, Environment and Local Government.
Tessa’s experience includes advising clients on statutory planning, strategic planning and environmental law, and in relation to matters heard in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), Planning Panels Victoria and the Supreme Court of Victoria. Tessa has particular experience in acting for the public sector at local and state levels.
Tessa joined Harwood Andrews from the Environment Protection Authority Victoria, where she worked as a senior policy advisor on planning and environment matters including buffers, landfills, contaminated land and intensive animal industries.
Previously, Tessa worked for a national law firm, where she practised in a specialist planning and environment team.
Tessa was admitted to legal practice in 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law with Honours from the University of Melbourne.
