Harwood Andrews has commenced 2023 by announcing promotions across four areas of practice.
We are proud to announce that Tara Paatsch has been appointed as Principal Lawyer. Tara has been a critical leader in the HA family law team since joining at the same time COVID hit us. Tara has significant experience across the full range of family law issues. She regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia.
She prides herself on her clear and regular communication with her clients and seeks to achieve a fair and cost-effective outcome during an often difficult time. All the best Tara, and congratulations.
We congratulate Amara Coleman on her promotion to Senior Associate in our Planning and Environment team. Amara’s ascension is quite rapid, and this promotion is a salute to her fantastic achievement and importance to the team. Amara is committed to providing accurate, effective and tailored legal advice across a broad range of statutory planning, strategic planning and environmental protection areas. She has experience in a variety of legal advocacy and advice matters, including those before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Planning Panels Victoria and the Supreme Court of Victoria. Maddie and Hugo are taking great leaps early in their careers with the firm in the Harwood Andrews Commercial and Property group. Maddie and Hugo make great contributions to their respective teams.
Hugo endeavours to provide personable, cost-efficient and practical advice across a broad range of commercial areas. He is passionate about community engagement in the Geelong region and undertakes pro bono work for Harwood Andrews.
